After following him for almost 2 years, I finally looked deeper into this master of many instruments and incredible metal vocals, and was surprised to learn he was from Norway. I don't know what I expected but yea, duh. Norway. Makes sense now! Leo mainly does covers, but his heavy metal arrangements are - what's the word? - delicious. Whether he's covering "Sweet Home Alabama," "Africa," or "Pink Panther Theme" he makes it sound new.
Leo's YouTube channel feature almost 5 million (!) subscribers He played at Wacken Open Air in 2019 - not too shabby! With his band Frog Leap, he's averaged about a cover per week on YouTube - quite a pace for the professionality that goes into his work. Even the after-song stuff is entertaining.
