The Hindley Street Country Club (HSCC) is an elite Australian musical collective and global internet sensation known as "the world's greatest cover band." Founded in Adelaide, South Australia in 2017, the group reimagines and flawlessly performs hit songs from the 70s, 80s and 90s. As of 2026, they have accumulated over 1.2 million subscribers and 590 million views on YouTube, translating to more than 2 billion cumulative views across all social platforms. They took their name from Hindley Street, a famous, gritty nightlife and entertainment strip in Adelaide, not an upscale country club. Founded by bassist/arranger Constantine Delo and producer Darren Mullan (who left in 2021), the project started as a hobby to record live, re-arranged covers in a single room with local session musicians. Many of their videos are themed medleys or compilations that exceed 20 minutes in length.
They achieved viral fame by committing to an ambitious schedule—recording and releasing a brand-new, highly polished live music video on the HSCC YouTube Channel every single Friday. Their performances are so exceptional they have been publicly praised by the original artists they cover, including Mick Fleetwood, Christopher Cross, and members of KISS and Air Supply. Today, they tour internationally, not just in their home of Australia. Be sure to give a listen to "Urgent (Foreigner)," "Africa (Toto)," and "Night Fever (BeeGees)" as the briefest of samples.
