Sabina Beyli is perhaps unfairly described as a pop rock artist. In fact her voice - which has a similarity to Cher - seems well suited to several metal genres, including Goth, symphonic, and her music has earned comparisons to Evanescence and Paramore. Sabina comes to us from the beautiful country of Azerbaijan in central Asia. I'd bet you don't know of any artists from there!
She now makes her home between New York, and Boston, where she graduated from the Berklee College of Music. Mundane Magazine claims that she is "one of the most compelling young voices translating raw emotion into arena-sized hooks." Take a listen and you may agree. No matter what you think, this 22-year old has plenty of time to try her hand in any genre.
