Chart facts: This year-end chart of the top 50 songs of 2006 is represented by 43 artists from 6 countries (8 Canada, 2 UK, 1 Finland, 4 Australia, 1 Iceland and the rest US (27).). This is a more diverse group than last year's chart, but less than previous years..

4 artists have more than one entry: Def Leppard is at #25 and #48; 3 Days Grace is at #45 and #47; Evanescence is at #8, #33 and #46; and Daughtry is at #1, #19 and #34.
